Some might argue they’re all the same place.

I’ll just have to check it out. I bought the first film. It’s in my DVD collection. I might get it just to complete my collection.
Maybe, but there are so many good things to watch now that I have to pick and choose, and that show is just near the bottom of the list.
Right? I mean, seriously. I want him to be resurrected, not that giant child-murdering dipshit.
Can you tell I’m still bitter about Oberyn’s death?
So I’ve heard. But I still want to see it.
Nah, haven’t seen it either. It’s not really the kind of thing I tend to watch. I do want to see the Kingsman film though.
Oberyn was one of my absolute favorite characters from the show. His death pissed me of so much. Seriously, fuck the Mountain. This is good news. It’ll be good to see Pascal in something decent again. (For the record, I’ve not yet seen Kingsman: The Golden Circle.)
Well played.
Here ya go.
Wow, I swear we’re the same person. The thought of watching any of those shows fill me with revulsion too.
Twiki from Buck Rogers is in there, and a xenomorph is hanging from the ceiling! The alien from District 9 is on the left, in front of 2-1B. Gort way in the back on the right. Incidentally, I’m also 45.
I can’t watch that movie without thinking about Judith Barsi’s short and tragic life. Same with the Don Bluth films she did voice-overs for. :(
Oh god, I was an emotional wreck all through this movie. I just got around to watching it a couple weeks ago because I knew it was gonna mess me up. I was not wrong.
Oh man, X-Blood in the ‘My Name Is Blood’ story arc is still legendary. And issue #9 of BloodSquad . . . that’s the one where Bloods McKenzie was introduced. Classic!
Damn, why didn’t they air this during last night’s episode? It wasn’t a strong episode overall and this was clearly one of the better bits they put together.
I can’t tell you the first film that scared the crap out of me (the earliest memory I have of any media scaring me is the old intro to Scooby-Doo, the one where the series of skulls jump out at you—I was 5). But the first film I can really remember giving me nightmares is oddly now one of my favorite films: Close…
To me that appears to be Jupiter and Saturn, with the smallest “planet” actually a moon of Jupiter, perhaps Titan? That would be an interesting in-joke if the soul stone was on Titan, wouldn’t it?
Sweet! Suri was my absolute favorite character from the film. I definitely want more of her, and the beautiful and charming Laetitia Wright.
The cover is fairly mediocre, as 90% of high fantasy book covers tend to be, but laughably bad? Here is what laughably bad cover art looks like:
I don’t recall any specific mention of Meg’s race, but I am quite sure her little brother was described as being blond, which I suppose doesn’t absolutely preclude the family being people of color, but it seems unlikely that L’Engle meant it that way. Still, just the fact that Meg was a strong female protagonist known…
