I have been a housekeeper in cheap motels. I know how hard that work is. On the rare occasion I use a room in a motel i leave at least $5. IMHO No matter what $ you leave the money is appreaciated & gives the worker a real lift and motivation to do good work in a good head space. It did me anyway!
