@NathanielSpace: what is unconstitutional in the USA isn't necessarily illegal elsewhere.

correction in the graphic: pandora has 192 kb/s streaming in the paid version, not 19.

I don't think it's necessary to ban cars; make it possible for people to not use cars, and I'm quite sure a lot of them won't.

@Brookespeed: I trust apple will find broader uses for this material, besides the fact of course, that I believe that this company was destined to become big one way or another.

Get prepared for a military-funded apple, people!

@minormillikin: Too bad the minimum stock price I can buy is 5 dollars...

@Brookespeed: I can assure you that this is a VERY good investment on apple's part, especially if they have acquired patents for this material.

@ZachMatthews: This material is an alloy of different metals, manufactured in a very specific process. It is only "glassy" in respect to its molecular structure.

@stan-the-man: In the video they call it metallic glass, which I think is incorrect, as it implies that this material is glass, and not metal.

The correct term for these materials is Glassy Metal due to the metal's molecular structure, which is similar to that of glass. Major coverage of this began in 2004, as covered by Discover Magazine: [discovermagazine.com]

@Diode: I'm trying myself to figure out whether they are counting every book written, or every copy of every book. I think that they're just counting how many books had been written though.

I remember on radiolab they played a recording of some cellular activity, and this sounds very similar to it.

Now we will be attacked by 4channers in meatspace!

I really wish RIM had bought Palm...
