People don’t seem to get that. Today’s SUVs are way better than they were 20 years ago, but they’re still significantly easier to flip than a car.

The scenery is certainly better from up high (25+ years in tractor/trailers), but folks with SUVs have no clue how badly their vehicle wants to turn over. At night, while you sleep, your SUV sits in the driveway/garage yearning to scratch its back on some sweet, sweet asphalt. Someday...

How did it tip the SUV? Easy, the SUV has a high-ish center of gravity and tires with tall, squishy sidewalls. Once it started to rotate it was probably going over, but the fact that the Celica got its nose under it and lifted a rear wheel sealed it.
