IDK if you’ll see this, since this is days old and I’m gray, but I go to a university that has almost completely done away with gendered bathrooms. In most of the public buildings (student center, libraries, academic buildings), they still have gendered bathrooms, but they also have coed ones and ALL dorms have coed…
When my mom wrapped presents, she would always curl the ribbon with scissors (which I still can’t do without cutting myself) and I would boing them and call them “Susan boing boing curls.” Like, “mom, can you make the ribbon Susan boing boing curls on my present?”
My mom also gave me Fifteen for my fifteenth birthday, although more as a joke (she had also read it as a child and she and I laughed at all the quaint 50s sensibilities). To this day, whenever I date someone, my mom asks me if he has strong wrists, like the love interest.
