this recipe has out-midwesterned itself. it sounds delightful though, not gonna lie.

it’s iron chef, not flat-iron chef. ...nevermind, i’m sure that’s not what he uses for his hair but it’s the only part of him i can ever focus on.

i haven’t tried any impossible options (soy intolerance, yeehaw) but the beyond meat is honestly alright. i will give you that it smells funk-gnarly, though. once it’s cooked it’s okay, but when i open a package, my cats come running because it smells like their food. once it’s mixed in with sauce or on a bun with

my neighborhood ups store is running from 10 am to 4 pm right now, and my closest grocery store has pickup available at best 48 hours from when you request your order. and nobody has any celery. it’s hard out there for a lady running errands, man.

ooooo. i’ve genuinely enjoyed quite a few of the more recent kit kat offerings (lemon and cereal were surprise favorites) and i love a good strawberry-flavored anything. seeing as my local grocer stocks a kiosk of kit kats right by the self checkout, i guess i’ll be trying this as soon as it comes out.

to be fair, green is a weird color for strawberry, and i get wanting to enjoy a flavor that’s not lemon and lime every now and then. but also, wives will figure out your secrets eventually. dude was eating on borrowed time.

back when i was a veghead, i totally would have eaten these. a lot of vegetarians are fine with knowing their food is prepared next to meat; so long as the product itself is vegetarian, it’s most likely fine. and honestly i’m just glad to see any vegetarian/vegan product come out in a fast food setting, because it’s

i mean, if i’m sipping on a chicken broth drink, it’s usually the morning after i’ve had too much booze the night before and i’m trying to restore some electrolytes or whatever it is i say i’m doing for science. i’m all for doctoring it up; i like to add ginger, ACV, and a dash of ghost pepper powder or a very hot hot

honestly though, he did have a few giggle fits earlier in the show and they were a complete delight.

man, i feel absolutely ancient looking at the list of cookies. i only recognize five of them from what i used to sell as a scout back in the day; what are all these newfangled varieties? where are my chalet cremes, or my golden nut clusters? oh who am i kidding, i’ll probably order a box of each new flavor because i

the only time i’ve ever had red hot dogs was on a summer vacation in maine, and so they are intensely nostalgic for me. this was the same era as the heinz colored ketchups, so bright red hot dogs with purple ketchup was the order of the day and it was fun, albeit kinda weird.

i grew up eating monkfish pretty regularly, and i remember enjoying it. my mom would prepare it probably once every other week, usually with a buttery breadcrumb or cornflake topping so that my little brother and i would eat it, but i don’t think i ever needed the encouragement. i didn’t know it was seen as a freak

7-11 gummy bears are albanese gummy bears in disguise, so no surprise there- they’re delightful! and at 2 bags for $3, they are an absolute steal.

i am an ardent lover of broth (i am actually heating some up right now, bc i have it in lieu of coffee most mornings) but i’ve never thought to make it entirely from parm. i usually just wind up chucking my rinds into minestrone or chicken soup a couple at a time. i feel like i need to try this now.

i have weirdly fond memories of the purple ketchup, because even though i was far too old for it at the time (i was 19 in the summer of 2001), the only time i experienced it was while visiting my bff in maine on an awesome summer vacation. she had a toddler who loved the stuff, and as it was maine, the hot dogs were

okay but almost 20 years later ‘lose yourself’ is still a great goddamn song, so, there’s that. i honestly love the idea of eminem with a spaghetti restaurant; it’s so bizarrely wholesome and while i don’t know that i’ll find myself in detroit anytime soon, it’s fun to know it exists and doesn’t seem to take itself

i am a total freaking sucker for raspberry-flavored anything (except blue raspberry bc i’m no longer 12) and this looks super tasty and easy. i always bring a baked good to my parents’ on christmas so this may be getting the treatment this year. i will have to make a preliminary batch for science though.

i mean, a lot of great food combos do seem kinda weird off the bat, maybe this is one of those odd-but-delicious things we need to try in the name of science

honestly it’s dollar tree raising its prices that has truly shook me to my core. we are living in wacky times, friends.

oh my, this sounds delightful, and looks like i might actually grab a couple bags of fresh cranberries next time i’m at the store. i normally don’t futz with them bc i have the sensibilities of a child and still love the canned cranberry sauce, but this looks really tasty.
