Kinda wish it ended with “whoami” if Im honest... the lingering thought of elliot warping through time/space dimensions to be an evil doppelgänger is way more interesting then “he bumped his head and now *truly* appreciates his cool sister”.

Twin peaks in general, I couldnt believe it was really happening
Didn’t pick up on the no dialogue thing until I read this review :o loved this episode and this season in general.
I hear the pacing is great!
Best part:
Red dead redemption 2. The game is a complete slog, its controls are so unwieldy and heavy it literally hurts my hands to play. LOVED rdr 1, but 2 is just so damn un fun to physically play I just can't be bothered with it.
I bet its just a “theater mode” where the game is on a huge screen at 30fps, maybe with some 3d depth. Lame...
I could go for a daft punky version of “midas touch” by midnight star.
If you havent seen stanleys film “Dust Devil” it is on shudder and well worth a look.
Its great that Jesus was the one playing the Jesus and Mary chain record.
I had a filmstruck subscription for a few months, and the library is truly awesome... but there is one major problem. The streaming seriously sucks. If the film you were watching only crashed 2 or 3 times, and you only had to watch 25% of it in grainy low res, that was pretty sweet. Other times shit straight up…
But I couldnt even make it through the first episode. Scorsese or not, that was some cringy shit.
For real, I thought he was talking about delicious Texas style water burgers, and then I thought I was having a stroke, because that makes no damn sense....
The salamanca in the ceiling was silly af, but it was fun so I’ll give it a thumbs up. but Yeesh that was some cartoony stuff.
I tried the playstation pc streaming service, and the input lag was a deal breaker. It was so close to being good, but the lag makes action games impossible. Adventure games and rpgs are probably ok though.
Yeah, and I thought this show is set in 2003? CRT city as far as I recall.
Kim + stereolab took me by surprise, but of course kim has good taste, she rules.
I love this kind of stuff, can’t wait to dig into this site and see what I can find.
Yeah I thought the first montage might be the best one they have ever done, but the second really stuck out as “oh....another montage? Sure”. It felt pretty lackluster compared to the masterful cold open.
But that is what happened, believe it or not. GLOW did indeed have a house show in vegas. They recorded episodes in front of a audience in some casino theater. I cant remember the name of the casino, but I visted it as a kid in the 90s, and suprise suprise, it was a real shit hole. Great aracade though!
