My grandfather just passed away 3 weeks ago and he was just like Iris. A big fan of the Lakers, but loved watching the Warriors because they are just fun. I’d call him after Lakers games and we’d break the game down. He was such a sweet and thoughtful man with great takes too. Man I miss him. Old people are great,

Drew needs to add a “Magic Johnson Pick Of The Week” to the funbag.

Oh man have you ever had Birria? It’s a spicy Mexican stew made with goat and it is SO damn good. Just had it again last weekend from a little hole in the wall place called La Simpatia in Guadalupe, CA that been there for 70 (!) years. It changed my life. I’m better in many ways all because of the goat.

Yea Steph should stop “settling.

Me and my roommates in college really enjoyed this game.  Fun dog-fights in the space ships and good land based combat with several different maps that were all well designed and balanced. RIP Warhawk

3 of the top 5 streamers/youtubers in the world (Ninja, Shroud, Dr Disrespect) have all been playing it during the beta and since launch.

Best option: Go on the weekend but super early. I usually go Saturday morning before 8am and it’s just me and the re-stockers as I walk around sipping coffee and leisurely buying mostly liquor.

I’m going to lean towards the “living in a country where arranged marriage is common” being the main thing that lead to him having a wife...

I can say from the Beta that it feels solid and polished with controls and interfaces that make sense. It’s been so good on PC, in fact, that many console players were clamoring to make improvements to the console versions to make them as smooth and intuitive as the PC version. There were some minor changes but they

Holy shit it’s 12:49PM PST and there is currently a guy kite surfing on that cam. What the hell is going on?!

Don’t usually come to Kinja deals for the laughs but this got me

Mistborn was the first series that came to mind.  The powers are so video game-y already! You have resources, and skill trees and loot practically built into the damn books already. I’d love it.

I am gobsmacked by the number of people saying things like “Oh they made a bad game that I bought, so I’m happy their businesses got robbed and their employees likely got screwed.” Gamers, man. It’s depressing to be a part of this community sometimes.

Ok I’m good on storage now.  What I really need next is a motherboard/processor sale.  Think you can whip that up?

I’ve been struggling lately with why I play video games, and whether or not they’re something I should spend my time doing. Maybe it’s being about to turn 30 but I find myself struggling with the stupid question “when I get to the end of my life am I gonna wish I’d spent more time doing X” where X is anything that I

I see a Tim Rogers post, and I click. I have no interest whatsoever in JRPGs and yet I’ve now spent upwards of... well I don’t know, but some hours watch-listening to Tim talk about them in depth.  Nice!

Hot dang, a Tim Rogers video sneaked into your review! It was like being attacked by an eel of enjoyment when I saw that.

They have SMALL teeth!

I wish they would just load the starting page in a box inside the game and then let you go through and find the links and then track when you get to the end page.  Much more interesting to actually read through the articles to find things than just clicking a list of links.

I heartily second the idea of using ‘Nice Ride’ bikes to get around in the warmer months. I went to Minneapolis in the summer and from taking the train from MSP into the city and then renting the Nice Ride public bikes, I never needed or wished I’d had a car.  Minneapolis is a very flat city and much of the things to
