Yep, I always turn on sentry mode when charging in public because people do mess with the car, can run into it, etc. it uses extra battery, and I don’t have a home charger, otherwise I’d always leave sentry mode on.

It’s not the ev having 500hp giving it less range, it’s the weight. If I lock away 250hp on a 500hp ev motor with the same batteries, I have the same range if I drive it the same. The power comes from the batteries. The motor is tiny and super efficient, even at 500hp.
