@blyan is not on fire: Yeah the problem here is that instead of one company making an ad to advertise a product, you have many companies making adverts for their products which hosts the same OS.

I'm pretty new to the android ecosystem coming from an iPhone 3GS but a little research before hand had told me that if I wanted to stay up to date when it came to firmware I needed a phone which uses Stock Android. It's not that difficult. Definitely saved me from the burdens you seem to have
