I think there are a lot of points to make about how Tesla isn’t a luxury brand, but my Audi seats ALSO got stained from my jeans. It’s a thing that happens with white seats. I think it’s smart for most brands to avoid pure white seats - I think Audi now offers “cream beige” as their lightest color, while Mercedes has

Pulling out and expanding on one of your points...Tesla is about as luxurious, overall, as a modern day mid-range Toyota. If you sat in a Model S Plaid then sat in a Mercedes S580 the difference would be stark, the two aren’t in the same league. There’s nothing “luxurious” about Teslas, other than the inflated price

1st Gear: I would argue that Tesla is only “luxury” in price. The inside of the 3 and Y are much less luxurious than my 9 year old Lexus CT (the cheapest Lexus) and about on par with my 15 year old Highlander Hybrid. The Model 3 and a Camry/Altima/Accord are probably better comparisons, even though I would easily give

You must be new to the internet.

You will never know until you try?

Soon to be renamed “Female Empowerment Sex Positive Avenue.

Counterpoint: we have a housing crisis. People can’t afford homes. Build housing. Don’t be a NIMBY.

When I was about 10 years old, my uncle who lived in New Jersey came down to visit usin the DC suburbs. He was a crane operator, and did quite well for himself as a fresh-off-the-boat immigrant from Eastern Europe directly after the fall of the iron curtain. He drove down in his brand new Porsche 911 Turbo.

I completely see your point - my parents did the same thing. When the plot next to theirs came up for sale, they even bought it to guarantee a developer wouldn’t move in there. Most of the residences here are legit farms. This part of Oxford is mostly true farmland.

I went to grad school close to here and have driven by this exact plot of land. While I don’t necessarily agree with his team thumbing their nose at the rules, the council is being a bit ridiculous. There is NOTHING out here, and while it is pretty, from what I can tell, this little cafe/restaurant isn’t detracting

Hi. Can you write for Jalopnik? Like, maybe now?

That is why I love my Audi S3: you start the car, the screen pop-up and then it retracts back in the dash.

Hard disagree.  Good looks and performance come at a price! 0-60 in 6 seconds was quite fast for the early 90's

politicians, mafia members, or lawyers.

Tried that without much results.

Old classmates are pulling into the parking lot. It’s a calm day with a quiet breeze. Suddenly in the distance an echo of Flight of the Valkyries begins to become audible. The wind picks up, the noise is unbearable, dust and sand blowing everywhere. Suddenly there is a thud and it becomes quiet.

The issue is that in the US we often try to mix pedestrians with fast moving traffic, by our design choices. In Europe you have freeways and highways that are really good and safe for moving cars quickly; you also have villages and cities where cars are expected to be very slow and deferential to pedestrians.

How else would everyone know that he’s absolutely yoked, then?

You know it's bad when they can't even bother to proof the headline, of all things.

Partially correct.  They are usually covered under a homeowners or renters insurance policy.
