All great tips! My wife’s current car is an 06 Accord she got from her sister for free (we live in the middle of the city), so anything will be an upgrade. With the state of the sometimes working sometimes not AC, and questionable reliability because of age, it’s time for a new car, especially since neither of us have

Get a Macan GTS! When you add 21" rims and and all the performance goodies to the Macan S, it ends up being more expensive than the GTS. I would say the Extended Leather, Premium Package Plus, and Exterior Package in Exterior Color are all must haves(the GTS comes standard with it). I’m also a fan of the Sport Chrono

Personal preference (mine is Rhodium silver with agate/pebble full leather interior, so I love the two tone interiors) with Chalk I’d do Extended Leather in Black/Pebble Grey.

That’s how I felt about my fast Audi when I got it, I just can’t seem to let it go (so I know the feeling well!) My wife and I are probably going to special order one in a few months, in Chalk, with all the go-fast goodies on it. Any must-have options? For reference we’re looking at the Macan S.

It’s the RS3.

Get a good coilover setup for the macan and you’ll sit at ~5" off the ground while feeling OEM. The demand for a smaller sports sedan just isn’t there. The Macan already feels and drives like one while offering much more utility.

2015 Macan Turbo owner here, as an aficionado of depreciation I typically rotate out cars every 12 to 24 months, though for the first time I’m finding it hard to replace a car.

I bought my Audi used from a non-Audi dealer, and Audi tracked me down and harassed me with flyers in the mail to get them replaced. Good on them.

I put this in below, but this thing drives phenomenally. It’s actually got less ground clearance than a Volvo V90 Cross Country, so if you’re worried about “riding high”, don’t worry. It’s actually not that high off the ground, and the way it drives makes it feel EVEN lower.

You should really give this a drive, it’ll change your mind. It’s actually got less ground clearance than a Volvo CrossCountry or an Audi Allroad (8.7 for the Volvo, 6.9 (nice) for the Macan). It feels as low to the ground as my S3, driving it. We test drove a few different versions when my wife was looking for a new

I continue to be sad that Porsche doesn’t make an ICE sedan smaller than the Panamera. Crossovers, no matter how great they drive, will never be a replacement for something lower to the ground.

We had an Acura RDX that was recalled, and my wife was pregnant at the time. Acura could not give us a date and she said well I don’t feel safe driving the car, so they ended up providing us a rental. Took almost a month, but they got the airbag in finally, probably cost them a whole lot.

Initially when I called my Audi dealer they told me it would be a 9 month wait. After a few back-and-forths with the dealer, they finally agreed to get it done sooner than that. Just had mine replaced last month, fell much better about driving around now.

Nebraska. Just Nebraska.

There are no “buses that take spectators to and from each stage” since the only spectators are generally people that are in and around the area, and a lot of them take pride in cycling the route to wherever they sit to watch.

Of course - I’ve actually been riding along this year trying to match their rides every day! I think my point is that you’d think cycling, of all things, would get a reprieve from climate protestors. What happened at Silverstone? I don’t agree with it, but I understand cars = carbon = climate change. Cycling? Probably

No, but an attempt at rehabilitation should be made. That’s something that doesn’t happen. There’s no point in putting someone in jail if there’s absolutely no attempt to make sure they can reintegrate into society and not recommit.

An armed robbery? Pretty close to life ya. It's only by chance someone didn't die since it's clear it wasn't just for show. You wouldn't get that exact charge if the weapon wasn't loaded.

This isn’t ‘a bicycle race’. It’s the SuperBowl of Cycling.
