EV Hummers for all!
EV Hummers for all!
The statistics disagree.
The NCAA has relaxed its rules on what college athletes can do for money
Why is 600 miles of range critical when we already have 200? Or 300? Couldn’t we really survive with 100?)
Yeah, the car just looks alive, moving all over the place. And no flappy paddles, for all the shifts he has to take his right hand off the wheel, rev match, etc.
Sure! Turn it into basically a motorcycle? Two wheels and nearly 400hp between your legs?
Absolutely amazing. Gives you quite the feel for how fast these cars are - something that gets lost when watching modern F1. It truly feels fast, and you have to be in awe at the reaction times. I would’ve binned it by the first turn, if I could have even gotten it into gear
can i have the front third?
The braking claim is THIN. Consumer Reports provided a chart of 9 vehicles. 4 of the electric vehicles had a GREATER stopping distance than their gas equivalents. Unless they’ve got a lot more data, that’s not a statistical significance I’d hang my hat on. Their explanation also has holes in it.
The correct number of bikes to own is N+1 where N is the number of bikes you currently own.
I’m currently trying to convince myself to buy an exceptionally nice H-D XR1200 that I don’t need.
I’d reckon you could get between 1/3rd and 1/4th of this car.
4.9, regardless of size, still seems a bit slow! The M340i has a similar engine and manages to get there a full second quicker, with a curb weight of almost 3900lbs. This is a disappointingly slow car for something with “AMG” in the name.
0-62 in 4.9s from 380 hp? That seems... well, not slow, but not as quick as one would expect? E.g. a Golf R can beat that with quite a bit less power?
In the US, those will be installed an inch higher than the surrounding pavement or an inch lower. We don’t expect trucks to roll over manhole covers so much as to slam into them with considerable force.
I think they looked at the business case of pulling the money for these out of their marketing budget because they’re basically just rolling ads. It’s like high street/premiere location shops that Louis Vuitton or Gucci run (like in Times Square, or Fifth Avenue, or the Champs Elysees). Nobody buys ANYTHING from those…
That would make sense, thanks for putting it out there. Because, yeah, that thing wouldn’t hold a day’s cargo for my 30-odd unit building.
This looks like it will high center on a speed bump.
Came here for this. Thank you.
That’s how you end up .4psi out of spec, and we all know where that leads.
