Just let them race. You’ll never have a super close series where all the racers have an equal opportunity. That’s not F1, that’s Indy Car. This isn’t a spec series. Going back decades you see the same handful of teams that figure it out going at it - Williams, Mclaren and Ferrari in the 80s and 90s, then Ferrari

That’s just common sense.

That if I’m really observant, keep up with basic at home maintenance, use premium fuel, and baby my 15 year old Audi, my mechanic bill will be less than $1,000 when I take it in for regular service intervals.

This is Nova, which really is more of the Midatlantic/Acela corridor. There are yearly snowstorms here, and it’s the same thing every year. They do nothing, people get stuck for hours. I got trapped for 6 hours in 3 inches of snow in my GTI about a decade ago because snow removal was so piss poor and nobody cleaned or

This would all be a moot point if Uber actually worked like an app that allowed drivers to set their own rates. Then they really would be contractors and Uber would only be a marketplace for that exchange. They got too greedy.

Let he who hasn’t drunkenly crashed a plane into a front yard cast the first stone.

I’d buy that. It’s my favorite FF movie, by a (quarter) mile.

I’ll take the bait - the Fast and Furious movies. They’re not good car movies. In fact, I’d argue they’re not even car movies, they’re just heist movies that, for the first few installations, hopped on the tuner car bandwagon and used street racing as a plot point (literally only the first film.)

What is up with that black rectangular cutout in the grill? Destroys the look of the car face!

That car just looks the business. I’d love for my MR2 to have an electric stablemate.

It looks heavy duty, but I agree it’s highly suspect.

This is WILD. I was on a film shoot where we were filming with a Tesla star car, and I had to find somewhere to charge it. Eventually ran a cord out of the hotel lobby. Took 14 hours to charge. OOF.

PLEASE let this actually happen. I live in downtown-ish DC near the Capitol and my wife and I have been looking for a new car for her - everything points to electric cars. It would be the perfect solution. The only problem is we have nowhere to charge them. The exact people that electric cars would be perfect for

I have a purpose built track MR2 Turbo that I regularly take to Summit Point...not that I understand what liking DRS has to do with never having raced? I guess you’re trying to imply that using DRS means you’re not a real racer? So none of the current F1 drivers are real racers? Whatever you say, buddy.

Why do you think DRS sucks? It’s a quick fix for making more passes happen. Short of going back and creating new aero rules or telling every constructor to rebuild their cars, what else do you do to make it more exciting? It’s fine.

I used to use my station wagon to haul film equipment for shoots around Manhattan and to Milk or Spring Studios. Even doing that on a weekly basis from Ft Greene and sometimes all the way out from Montauk, I still wasn’t getting anywhere near what this guy was.

We all know what fudging our expense reports looks like...and it’s this.

DAMN. My entire point ruined by a typo. Well, at least I don’t think DRS ruined F1.

Yeah, as someone that actually has an economics degree (thanks, LSE!)...the fact that gas is so expensive is a DIRECT RESULT OF CAPITALISM. Want cheap gas? Go to Venezuela, you commie.

If you live on Long Island and drive into Manhattan on a daily basis you deserve every bad thing that happens to you, and worse.
