That’s fair - it is a great deal for what you’re getting, I just think Kia will probably have some problems competing with the big three German brands (or even Lexus).

$55k for a Kia is WILD. I know it’s a great car, and looks pretty slick, but that’s more than a new Audi S4 (or nearly as much as an RS3).

I see the Trippy Torchinksy Time post has arrived early today.

This is absolutely a valid way to fix to issue. If the system doesn’t need to be connected to an outside network, or could do being connected through a much more secure VPN, then do it. Not every system needs to be connected to the open internet.

Of course, that’s understandable, but I work at a SaaS company that needs to have its services always up, and our IT department built a parallel system for services before transitioning everyone over at some off-peak time like 1am on a Sunday morning.

I will never stop being surprised by the amateur hour antics of IT departments that handle security for essential infrastructure. My home network has better security and more regular data backups than these companies, and the most crucial thing I do on my network is troll the BaT auction comments.

It’s great to see a driver that still has a little bit of fire and passion. Despite his interviews on Netflix, Bottas has seemed a bit too comfortable with 2nd seat at Mercedes, and I think he’s going to find himself possibly being leapfrogged by Russell once they bring him on to replace Hamilton. Bottas should be

I mean, probably not many, but I highly doubt this sub-1,000 mile car is anywhere near driveable with probably all of its rubber pieces needing to be replaced.

I don’t have any kids, and I myself own an early 90s Japanese sports car that I drive around a lot, and I would never wish a car this old and (likely) unsafe to anyone. Your kids deserve modern safety features.

One more time for everyone in the back trying to sell this garbage...just because it’s rare doesn’t mean it’s valuable.

Well hang on a minute there, let’s not throw out the baby with the bathwater.

What a great looking Hyundai Elantra.

This looks like LA, and LA is literally the perfect place to film something like this. Everyone has their top down or windows open, because why wouldn’t you? The weather is literally perfect 80% of the time. Every time I go there for work I get a fun car and drive around with the windows down since it’s either too

That, plus the terrible aftermarket window tint, make this car look just terrible.

Did these come out of the factory with the body panels completely mismatched like this? The rear bumper looks like a different color than the rest of the car, the lines are off, there’s massive panel gap, and the whole thing looks crooked. Guess this was a “Friday car?”

“Born to be Wild” - it’s so cliche.

This. This right here. There is no way, even if I have the expertise and knowledge that I will do it correctly the first time, that I can afford to spend 2 full working days and change to fix my car. My time is worth WAY more than that. Is it worth $3,550? Not entirely certain, but discounting this as just “a weekend

Even dealing with reputable sites can lead to headaches. I bought a JDM MR2 Turbo on Bring a Trailer that looked pretty mint, and had lots of documentation, and the seller said it drove flawlessly. Got it for a pretty good price, drove it down to my local JDM shop, and they basically told me I’d need to redo almost
