Oh for sure - I’d say use common sense where you live. Does it only snow/get cold a few days a year? Can you survive without driving those days? Then sure, leave those summer tires on. I live In DC and the weather is all over the place - some winters it will snow multiple feet, some winters (like this one) will have

Does it get cold where you live? Then yes!

If you have winter where you live and run summer tires, you need winter tires.

I don’t understand the massive CP vote here - It’s a running, functioning brown stick-shift wagon for (with a little negotiation) less than $2,000. This is prime Jalop content! At that price drive it until the wheels fall off, it’s probably a hoot.

Whoa there, it’s not a Porsche.

I wouldn’t really call $85k “steep” for something like this. Don’t normie Escalades and Navigators cost this much with options? This sits between a Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo in terms of power, and costs about the same as an S. A bonus 70hp for the same price as an S sounds like a pretty good deal.

You’re pulling up too close. You should be able to see the bottom of the back tires on the car in front of you.

I did that to my ‘07 GTI! Put down great power, and was still relatively comfy. Also those tartan seats were to die for.

Oh, I’ve been there. Thankfully It didn’t reach Patrick George levels of seriousness, but I was still shooketh.

That’s fair - I do tend to drive down to my parents’ house around Richmond, and then sometimes up to NYC or out to the mountains with my bike to go cycling, so I still want something fast. My other ride Is an MR2 Turbo, so maybe I’ll go full comfort with the new ride and save the weekend jaunts for the Toyota.

It just blows my mind that this is so expensive - who can justify spending this much on an electric scooter? For this much money you could easily buy a 250-650cc bike...new. You can take that on the highway without fear of death!

The S4 is on my short list for next car, but I live in DC with LOTS of bad roads. Drove an RS3 for a week here, and the ride just shattered me. How is the ride on this when not on perfect roads? My back can’t take much more rock solid “sport” suspension.

Great write-up, and wonderful photos, Kristen!

No word yet on how much faster the Turbo S will be burn.

Uh oh, another #TaycanTruther

They’re really taking their competition with Tesla seriously.

Amen to all of this. If I’m in economy I always look back, make sure they aren’t working on a laptop or eating, and then gradually recline my seat so they know what I’m doing. If someone TRULY has a medical issue or is above 6’5”, I’ll gladly leave my seat up, especially if it’s just a few hours.

The proper way to deal with this man baby.
