The irony is they’re lowest among wealthier families that ask for exemptions. Vaccinations are typically required to start public school (and should be for all schools). Lower income families have higher rates of vaccination and in many cases, higher trust in public health despite having on average less education.

She is a politician. She retired from practicing medicine 10 years ago. Nothing wrong with that, if she’d actually admit it, just like there’s nothing wrong with being a protest candidate. The trouble is she’s disingenuous about it.
