That invasion of the mansion with Wolverine tearing through soldiers sequence really made the movie for me.

After how comics accurate Deadpool was and how fun Civil War was I just can’t muster any enthusiasm for Bryan Singer’s take on the Xmen anymore.

OMG when Walda and the wee baby Bolton ate all those dogs!!! Definitely did not see that coming.

I get the impression that those are the same people who were fine with Superman being grim/dark/gritty. Ignore those people.

Well, I was speaking specifically about outfits.

First Class at least gave us the colorful blue and yellow team uniform that felt like they came out of a comic. They even used the striped wingspan for Banshee and a circular on the Havok uniform.

They broke out the yellow uniforms in First Class. It would have been easy to keep that line of costume design going. Magneto’s 70's uniform in DoFP still had some color to it. I think the problem is less that they are trying to keep that connection to the first movies, then that Singer’s view of this characters has

It's TV-MA. You knew the risks

Now, now. If they hadn’t used any puns, we wouldn’t have any boa-ns to pick with them. Our jokes would have been constricted, anaconda of all that, we wouldn’t have anything to joke about.

Because it’s not for sale...

If you asp me, they should have kept it that way.

I guess they just slid it by us. Or it wasn’t to scale.

...what’s hard to follow? They’re pretty much chronological. The First Avengers being the only real exception (well, and Incredible Hulk, which takes place concurrent to parts of Iron Man 2 and Thor).

because apparently we Brits get a movie called Captain America a week before the US of A

This is how most fanfics start.

I’m assuming the Suicide Squad is going to have a strict no-kill policy to separate them from the murderous vigilantes.

But, how could they ever be an asshole? That would imply they’ve done something mean. And they could never do anything mean or — gasp! — take pleasure in doing it.

I love when they call it “manufactured” outrage. As if their sociopathy is universal, therefore it must be artificial and for points when you tell them they’re being an asshole.

Location scouting has begun, with director Michael Bay seemingly setting his sights on Stonehenge in England as a potential target.

I think that was a new feature— the ejection seat/parachutes are, too, as Aftermath specifically says there’s no ejection function in the Empire Era TIEs.
