That add-on 2nd stick image is the original 3DS XL shown for comparison. It needed that big black snap-on doohickey for a 2nd stick. That little white button near the ABXY buttons is the integrated stick on the new one.
It's called the "new" 3DS and the "new" 3DS LL. It's faster with "new" 3DS viewing. It also has "Amiibo" function and a new analog pad call the "C-stick." Wow! This sounds great.
