Nope nope nope. I just had to do that for Sean Penn because someone said on Facebook that they loved Sean Penn & would marry him in a heart beat. I thought I'd point out that she'd be marrying a man who thinks beating women tied to chairs is appropriate, grown up behaviour.

Ok, so he's moving up the "Nope!" scale for me. Thanks for posting this.

Two things Lana Del Rey isn't really:

You are the greatest GIF troll of all time.

*blink* He shot Kelly Preston?!?!

"I never intended for anybody to be hurt," she said. "I'm not a bad person. I don't have it in me to hurt anyone."

didn't the crystals song 'he hit me and it felt like a kiss' come out several decades before Lana?

Thank you for that. It's stunning how lightly people treat his behavior.

She's right, they shouldn't have run that story.

Common sense should prevail. In this case, it's a good chance to say, "Hey, we have common sense!" But no, that would be too easy.

Weight loss isn't a benefit of running? Then where the hell did those 20 pounds go that I've lost this year, since I finally stopped being injured and started running? Was it magic?

JUST TAKE THEM ALL DOWN YOU SHITFUCKS

Glad to hear the running world is pretty accepting! I think she's mostly trying to get the message out to the wider world, though, for people who don't know that it's a friendly crowd.

I've done a lot of marathons. Many good runners have a few extra "ellbees" as we call them, even up to overweight and obese. And many of the folks I ran with were very, very fast. It's cool to see this getting attention, but this isn't an issue in the running world that I know of. It's just an accepted thing.

Sure, we all find different activities interesting. My point was that for some people, running actually *is* dangerous, but that if they have an interest, you know, it's best to walk before you run. :)

This is great! I'm going to check out her blog for recommendations for sports bras for plus-size women with plus-size boobs. Nothing I find ever works, and it keeps me from running.... An activity I loved as a kid, before the boobs and the weight came on.

I think it's more accurate to say that weight loss isn't always one. Many people do find it beneficial for weight loss, but like anything, it's not a guarantee that your body will work like that.

I think what her story points out is that's just not a particularly thrilling prospect for some people. Personally, I find walking boring as hell, and prefer the stationary bike. She likes to run. Some people like to row. The point is, you shouldn't feel like you "can't" just because you're not sure how to start, or

I know lots of marathon runners who probably are well over the recommended BMI. Running is not a great way to lose weight - you burn less and less calories the more you run and you just get really hungry so you end up eating the calories you burned. There are there are other health benefits, but weight loss isn't
