I'm sure that's what the Coke or Pepsi funded "scientific" papers say, but if you ask any doctor I bet they'll say stay clear of phosphoric acid (which granted, isn't in EVERY pop, just most of the dark ones).
I had kidney stones last year while on the job. When it passed I blacked out and called my mom crying. She did not enjoy that call. Neither did I.
So the bloody leopard they're letting the child heft and hold has been sedated and tagged, not shot dead?
It's the phosphorus in certain sodas like cola and Dr Pepper.
Also, stay hydrated.
I'm sorry, but I just researched this group and the kinds of things they support are not okay with me. I wouldn't believe a thing I read on their website. I got this from wikipedia: "NAIA opposes laws restricting the practices of docking, ear cropping, bark softening of dogs, and removing the claws of cats. They…
Yeah, the whole thing is basically cited from two people that work at the same resort, but I like it as a counter point to the current narrative. Its, "Killing endangered animals is wrong!" vs "hunters paying to kill endangered animals give those communities jobs and money," and then call it a day. This was a kind of…
Our bodies are mostly water. Best to flush it out once in a while.
I'm really disturbed and sad that I actually have to pull out a Buzzfeed link to combat your idiocy but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles today:
I dunno, I would question the validity of her statements if it was information I got from her website. I can see that the rhino in the picture has been tranquilized, but in my eyes even being in the picture with one of those dead animals is horrible. Not enough to call for her death, but still it's not a good thing.
I'll call it the way I see it: When my preferred drink at the bar was a Coke and Seagram's, I had two kidney stones. When I switched to seltzer and flavored vodkas, none since and I'd say I drink the same amount at the same frequency.
But only some of the pictures are from green hunts. What about the others? What's the ratio of green hunts to regular big game hunts? Can you provide the link where you got the information from? I'd like to see the ratio.
Okay, keep on chugging that coke.
I actually think I'm the only person in the world that likes Crumbs cupcakes at this point.
The image accompanying the headline head me thinking kidney stones are caused by KFC popcorn chicken. It's uncanny.
If the headline hadn't given it away, I would've assumed that picture of kidney stones was of some deep-fried treat, and I kinda wanted it...
I'll just stick with my regular daily liquid intake of 2 gallons of coffee in the morning and 2 gallons of beer in the evening. Should keep me nice and hydrated, I ASSUME.
Could it be that our intake of crap has increased over the last 30 years? Yes.
It's not just the climate.
