It and the shinning scared the cap out of me. Like I had to wake my boyfriend up cause I was too afraid to sleep. I have read a lot if Steven King and with a few exceptions (cell) they are fantastic.

I would never go to a wedding and not leave a gift. If you can’t afford much, then don’t spent much. A nice card and something small and thoughtful goes a long way. I would never break down whether they deserved a gift either.

Did she? I didn’t get that at all from her essay.

I just read both of those linked articles and seemed to have missed where she said “I am never wearing makeup again”. It is her business, and really I don’t get the hate especially from women.

Will do later today

But if the dad was wearing spandex shorts he would not have been allowed to board. He was dressed according to the dress code. His daughter would have been fine to board if she was wearing shorts as well. I would agree if they required her to be a a dress for example but their dress code is gender neutral and fairly

He was wearing cargo shorts not althetic shorts, which can be business casual and are gender neutral.

Heals are different imo because they can be a health issue for some people. In those cases I feel like there should be some flexibility. Otherwise I’m fine with having a reasonable gender neutral dress code.

I had male friends in HS who were required to wear a full suit/tie and dress shoes when they flew on their dad’s pass. They were not permitted to board otherwise. They were also expected to follow a strict code of behaviour.

Any time you are representing your employer then can hold you accountable for your behaviour.

Why not? Why can’t a child of 10 dress appropriately for the occasion in question whether it be church or a funeral* or whatever?

Cargo shorts are allowed though. I would see an issue if the girl was told she couldn’t wear cargo shorts while her dad was but that’s not what happened.

Didn’t it say they were asked to put on a tunic or dress over the leggings?

Well they could choose to pay for their flights if the guidelines are too much of a hassle.

Leggings are often worse then sweats, and are frequently wore as pants when they shouldn’t be. I have seen a lot of shear leggings out there. They are about as casual as it gets.

Yeah I knew a pilot’s son who would fly all the time, in a proper suit and tie. Regardless of wear he was going(this was like 15 years ago). If this is for staff and their families it’s really common and a business has a (reasonable) right to have a dress code.

I heard he cheated all the time back in the day. I thought it was common knowledge?

Who would play that at the wedding? Even without the back story it’s depressing af.

Well your body just makes new skin for small areas. I have a scar but considering I sliced a good piece off (about the size of a bean) it filled in eventually. I had a surgery too that had complications and endedication up with holes in the incision (the largest was about three inches, it took six months to fill in.

Well anybody would replace a missing chunk of skin to some extent. His would just not have a scar. I cut off a pretty decent piece of the side of my hand (fucking mandalin) and it grow back, it took years and it still hurts but it’s there.
