Like Coen Bros fans with Buster Scuggs, even die-hard Wes Anderson fans generally don’t feel it was particularly good.

MI: Fallout was one of my favorites, and I’m still looking forward to watching The Favourite.

Apparently just being a movie by Wes Anderson is enough around here. I love the dude’s movies by Isle of Dogs was not best of worthy.

Yeah, if Isle of Dogs made the cut, the year can’t have been that great.  And I’m big Wes Anderson fan.

the last 2 stories were the only ones i found particularly interesting. but on the whole the thing was mostly a snoozer that was well shot. to me this would be one of the things the coens wouldve written and passed off to someone else to make cause they didnt find it to be worth their time.

Yeah. Reading this I was thinking maybe I need to give it another try. I got about halfway through it and just didn’t care enough to finish it. And I usually love Coen brothers stuff.

Geez, do you people ever watch movies to be entertained?  You can debate the merits of summer blockbusters, popcorn movies, and superhero fatigue all you want, but for movies like Black Panther and Infinity War (and maybe MI: Fallout) to not even get a sniff is just flat-out elitism.

man buster scruggs was such a let down. if this were anyone but the coens no one wouldve given a shit about it. in a word the movie is “fine”
