No: because if you read “Easy Riders, Raging Bulls” the film industry was not on his side at the time, and it didn’t matter that he was a white man in any sense. Go ask Hal Ashby how much being a white man helped HIS career. No one gave a fuck if he was a white guy: just how well his film would sell. And the industry

Hi, I’ve come here for an argument?

I’m as shocked as you are...but part of the fun would be arguing respective tastes.

Ooh, look at the fucking big brain on morley here...

It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times...

That being said, fuck Trump and the GOP overall. I also apologize ahead of my time for my Dad, his brother and all the other GOP assholes in my family. They’re not per se bad people, just dumb ones at times.

In “This Never Goes Well” defense, I’m almost willing to vote Trump just to spite pious d-bag Recognitions. I mean, I wouldn’t because of the reasons you posted (nothing bothers me more than Pence and his fucking theory that you can pray the gay away and the ‘heritage’ of Southern traitors to the union) but people

Did you hear the mix where they someone recorded and put the bass mix in? It’s pretty damn good, but I agree that “Justice” can’t hold a candle to the first three albums.

I won’t disagree it was a game changer: but it’s not a better album than Master and neither is Ride the Lightning. KEA has some TERRIBLE lyrics (which, to be fair, does accurately sum up that early teen years head bang mania) and while Ride is better, Master (to me) is the peak where their technical and lyrical

Only if he gets a cool fuzzy hat and some Dolemite style outfit.

Curse you: now I’m wondering if the Jedi, being so fucking mystical, fart out some pleasant aroma or maybe don’t even shit at all and have it burned off in some odd Space Religion way...

This is becoming one of those movies where I wasn’t super impressed on first watch (it was OK but nothing great) to a film I really enjoy watching. It definitely gets better on re-watch.

He wasn’t called that: it’s a call out to a film he directed that he won’t release called “Cotton Candy”. It was one of those “Sunday Night Movie” on NBC and it’s about “George Smalley is a high school senior trying to find direction in life. His attempt to land a spot on the varsity football team fails when he is cut

“A RIOT OF OUR OWN” - well played, Sir. And as a huge Clash fan you made my day.

I won’t lie: I never could stand New Order (or Depeche “Commode” for that matter). I tended to agree with the Dead Milkmen in their “You’ll dance to anything”.

They probably looked back on this and said, well it can’t be any worse...

Now playing

I’m thinking you really love the Shit hits the fans and other live bootlegs...

You nailed it right on the head. There was all this interesting underground stuff going (Thrash metal, 2nd wave punk/hardcore, Goth) and we get Hall and Oates and Dexy’s Midnight Runners. Both of which put out some decent pop songs but you get the point.
