oooh, that's how I know I've got a good book!

Oh, was that the middle section? I totally absolutely skipped it. I couldn't make my brain comprehend more than a page of it. I enjoyed the remainder though.

Gerald's Game was one of the first books of his I read shortly after it was published. Until that time I'd been slowly working through his back catalogue at the library. I remember being the only person I knew who actually liked the book. It was weird, but not in a normal King way.

22 weeks, that's almost a half year! Fucking awesome! Keep it up!

heh my brother and I for YEARS would shout at each other "BECAUSE IT WILL HURT MORE!" for no reason.

kids in school used it all the time too! It hit supersaturation everywhere for a short while. Still, I was pleasantly, nostalgically surprised when I saw him in the new commercials.

He was so great in that movie. When the bad guys were invading Robin's camp and he's sitting on his horse picking his teeth!.

I've never come across a bigger group of people with more love for That Thing You Do! It has been one of my top 10 fav movies of all times and I hardly ever find someone IRL who has heard of it.

And cycling started again yesterday! Tour Down Under stage 2 today! WOO!

I always get a little thrill when I see actors saying nice things about Alberta. And he's not wrong, the weather where they filmed (and near here) can be crazy moody!

Me too! I was at the peak of my Gary Oldman infatuation.

hahah yes! I actually thought: wait, was he searching in English? or Japanese?

Supergirl!

hahah and myself, growing up in Alberta, I hear it sometimes with rural Ontarians. And yes, also Maritimers too.

yes, exactly! Good for her! (So much hate in these comments! And I can misanthrope with the best of 'em but man, so much hate.)

Yup! And these are the same weeks that Y&R makes the list too!

oh really? I think Left Hand of Darkness is specifically on my list but I'm not a fan of plot-light books. Eh, nothing says I can't start reading and give up on it!
