That’s part of the appeal. You get close to the edge and then pull back oh yeaaaahhhhh.

I feel like it definitely gives more room for my nuts to grow larger, so thats good.
Haha I do the same thing with my MK7R using a fluid extractor. Easiest oil change I’ve ever done.
I’ve had a good amount of interesting cars in my life but I’m very happy with my 2015 Golf R with DSG. They are ridiculously quick with boltons (high 11's / low 12's consistently) and mine with an aftermarket turbo just screams. At the same time its a daily driver with a nice interior and great road manners. It really…
Those wheels aren’t great. They look like a discount special at a place that sells Triangle brand tires.
I saw a clean example last week and thought the same thing. 90's American cars sucked but this thing was oddly good looking.
The problem with cars like this (including various Astons, Audi R8, etc) is that now now that I can afford them I’ve been spoiled by a 500hp Golf R (not exaggerating, 440whp on pump 91 and 500whp+ on E30) that will blow them all to shreds in everything but looks.
No they don’t. No one prefers cutting off half the view.
Yet business is thriving year after year.
Um, I’m pretty sure that’s four bandits on horseback trying to loot a train in the Ol’ West
I’m nowhere near 50, always had a few theories of what they could be for and found the article to confirm my thinking. I’m happy I ran across it.
Not even remotely funny and I loath EA.
I’m guessing watches, wallets, jewelry, etc.
Maybe China influencing in the background as part of tariff discussions?
EDIT
Thanks bud! The brakes were pretty much a bolt on affair which was nice. You’ve got a great ride as well!
I’ve seen it. A good number of MK7 GTI/R owners run these brakes without long term noise issues so fairly confident I’ll get it ironed out. I think Clarkson drove the MK3 TTRS and these brakes came from an MK2.
Haha no, I have a Golf R with OEM TTRS rotors and calipers (in addition to EBC Yellows pads, stainless brake lines and Motul brake fluid). The car has full bolt ons plus ECU/TCU tunes (runs 11's) so additional stopping power is nice
The TTRS setup on my Golf 7R with freshly installed EBC Yellow’s (less than 150 miles) recently started to squeal a bit under very low speed low pedal pressure stops. Doesn’t do it all the time but hopefully goes away for good.
Congratulations Alabama! This is huge for the state and for the country.
