I think its a gorgeous design. The only questionable element is the headlight shape and I’m fairly certain that I’ll get used to it. It’s actually refreshing to see Aston put a bit more effort into their styling.

Barges allow them to land the rocket anywhere there is water which means they can land them in densely populated areas without having to worry about where a failed land based rocket will land. There is a lot more freedom with this option.
I think the point is that they are both the wrong solution. What they are looking to do is land it on the barge up right with no tipping involved.
The US certainly isn’t devoid of escalator incidences.
