I can see it being released NEXT year. The DS XL isn't even out yet. To release another handheld might hurt those sales (if any to compare to DSi and its predecessors). Hell the DSi isn't even 1 yet. I think Nintendo just wants to shit out more consoles for laughs and giggles.

I don't see them making any ports of their current games out on the PS3. If anything I see a new IP coming out of them making it MP. Something new from the devs.

@shouryuuken: I have 2 friends with Fat Ps3's and theyre okay. It might be the console number. I think the consoles from MGS4 bundle and before are affected. We saw that price drop as soon as the MGS4 ones were discontinued, possibly due to a change of parts.
