The Dry was the first movie I saw back in an actual theatre and I really enjoyed it. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know and I’m super bummed out that it was only showing for a few weeks in one or two theaters. It’s the kind of movie I will have no problem watching a few times. Beautiful scenery, great cast

That makes me so sad. In my predominately immigrant and Latino neighborhood practically every other house has an American flag up. It represents so much to us and our families and it’s so disappointing that it’s now associated with Trump supporters

I enjoyed him in Glow but I’m not a fan of Hilary Duff or HIMYM so I’ll probably be skipping this.

Right! It took them so long to realize it.

Went to a Mediterranean place and stuffed myself with a falafel pita wrap, spicy feta, and hummus.

It’s the first year law students exam.

I can’t recall it exactly but it said something like “Oohh, him”.

The change of headline on this article is gross. The first one was bad and this one is worse.

It’s like the defense is making the case for the prosecution. Not one of the witnesses they put on today did anything to help their case.

It seems like the doctor was a medical doctor and not a psychiatrist. Do we know what sort of medication he was taking? It seems like people are assuming it was some sort of psychotropic medication.

Dr Tobin was excellent and I hung onto every word he said.

As someone who graduated from a grad school program that uses CRT as its foundation, fuck this guy.

I was confused too. After a very brief Google search, apparently both women are on different Real Housewives shows and they are both in recovery. I guess them hanging out is a big deal for some reason.

I’m interested to see what percent of families in LA County actually send their kids back to school once open. I’m a clinical social worker and I work primarily with Hispanic and Black children in LA County. The majority of the families I work with don’t want to send their kids back to school and are only going to do

I’m a clinical social worker that works as a therapist in a community mental health agency that provides services in low-income, predominately Black and Latino/Hispanic neighborhoods. I work primarily with children aged 0-17.

Yea, it does seem to vary state by state. I have friends in different states who are going to be some of the first to get it, and others who will likely be waiting quite awhile.

Yup, my county has continued to do in-person monitored visits despite us having a huge surge here in SoCal. I feel so bad for my friends who work for CPS having to put themselves at such a high risk.

You would think so, but that’s not always the case. I’m a social worker that works as a therapist in a community based agency. Usually we work out in the field but this entire time we’ve been working from home via Telehealth. Even though we are working from home we are still considered essential workers and will be

Something that I’ve encountered is people using “high support needs” and “low support needs”.

Since California gave everyone mail in ballots I’m hoping most people took advantage of it and didn’t vote in person.
