He is a cool boy! I have only seen owls a couple times in my life, and they are always so beautiful and interesting to observe.

Show me your pets! The pet thread was wonderful last week, so I thought I would do it again.

A decked out compound bow, arrows, case, target, and accessories. It’s not the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought, but it’s the most expensive thing I’ve bought on a whim, and purely because I wanted it.

Two days ago in Irvine, California another synagogue was tagged with graffiti. The synagogue already has armed guards present during services, and will be getting more security cameras, higher gates, and barriers to block vehicles. It’s so sad that these things are necessary.

Sometimes when I finish reading one of these stories, especially the ones that involve everyday people and not the supernatural, I realize I’ve been holding my breath.  

Maggie’s obsession is a bit annoying, but I can understand where it comes from, so I can look past it. Phoebe was the sister who drove me nuts the most on the original Charmed, but I did still like her quite a bit. I was very fond of her in the earlier episodes when she was still in college. I agree with it seeming like Mel is the main character, and I wish they would stop. The other sisters are more interesting to me, and I want to see more of their stories, especially Macy’s. I’m interested to see where her relationship with Galvin goes, since something about him seems a bit off to me. 

The sorority sisters are the worst. I could understand why Maggie would be so eager to get their approval and to join them if they weren’t so awful. 

Mel was the biggest turn off for me when watching the first episodes of this show. I’m still not sold on her character, but she got a lot better this week. I hope they continue to tone down the stubbornness and develop her character better.

The entire time I was watching CAOS I was wondering where I had seen her before, and it was Wonder Woman! She was a delight in the movie, and probably my favorite character on CAOS.

I’ve grown up in a house that has a fence, dogs, security lights, and cameras that monitor the entire exterior of the house. When I eventually get a house of my own, it will have the same. Once you have all that security, anything less just feels inadequate. I know that sounds crazy, but it makes me feel more secure.
