Shame because at its core it is a pretty solid car. They have always been kinda ugly. Just not THIS ugly.

I’ve had two WRXs - each lasting 10+ years. I’m over it now, and not buying another; especially starting at $35K but I’m guessing the model/options I’d choose would come out to $45K when all said and done — at current interest rate levels.   The WRX is not that car IMO.

Doesn’t fit neatly into the single role of a traditional car or a boat. “Traditional” cars don’t float. “Traditional” boats don’t roll on roads. This does both. Definitely a non-binary vehicle.

I really want to like the Santa Cruz (especially the 2025 model). I don’t "regularly” need to tow or haul, but I like the idea of having a small bed for garden supplies, appliances, maybe some lumber with a bed extender, occasionally tow a motorcycle or small popup camper, transport bikes without loosing my back seats.…

I am really close to getting a new car and it keeps popping up in my mind but I can’t get over the dual clutch transmission. I need to pull a small camper occasionally with it and although the base powertrain has the towing capacity I would need to pull the camper, it does not have the features I want. Who thought it…
