Buick Regal TourX - You’ll be driving the car, take a sharp turn, and the doors will try to lock. The first few times it happened I had no clue what was going on. I finally figured out the key fob is just poorly designed. The lock button is raised so if it’s sitting in your pocket the wrong way, pressure against the

Just the hue of the images makes me want to go watch Gone in 60 Seconds in theaters.

I had a 2003 for around 13 years (it was my daily driver for around 11). Seeing the pre-modified interior above definitely brought back a nice wave of nostalgia. I think it’s awesome that this one is getting to live out it’s days in the dirt.

As someone who works in product strategy for a major tire manufacturer (with experience on both the OE and replacement side of the house), I whole-heartedly endorse this post.

I’ve still yet to have a flight where the seatback had a shelf for a phone/tablet (granted, my work travel has decreased significantly the last couple years). Happy to see they’re becoming more prevalent.

Hot roads also add to faster tire wear. So a coarser surface with the Florida sun beating down on it is likely to chew through tires a bit more quickly.

I work in an automotive field, and while I’m a couple years removed from the job where this was a regular concern, we basically referred to anything body-on-frame as an SUV (and generally group them with pick-ups) and anything that looks like an SUV but is a unibody as a CUV. That said, I realize this distinction

Between 2015 and 2020, 13 people have been killed during wingsuit skydiving incidents, according to CNN.

Something about the proportions of this kill the wagon vibe for me. I think it’s that the area below the beltline is too big compared to the area above it, which gives it a compact CUV look instead of a wagon.

Slow pumps are so annoying. You stand there and wonder if you should just wait for it or stop pumping, get back into your car, drive to a different pump and start the whole transaction over again. And then of course there’s always the chance that all the pumps are just slow, and you changed pumps for no reason.

I don’t even like Teslas, but this makes me want to argue with you.

Shocked to not see any references to Mustangs (specifically regarding Cars and Coffee and pedestrians) here.

Getting vibe flashbacks to the one WRX concept everyone lusted over like a decade ago (followed by the actual production version) and preparing for disappointment accordingly.

I’ve dabbled with all of the options listed. Used Roku (Ultra) for the longest and no real complaints except very occasional remote disconnections. Handy phone app though for taking over controls in those cases. Still use one for our bedroom TV.

I mean, I think it’s ok to criticize both. TSA didn’t do their job but that doesn’t absolve the senator of personal responsibility. Also, I have not doubt there are some comments here saying “there is no such thing as a responsible gun owner” (I haven’t read them all), but the few I’ve read scrolling through are from

What’s with all the snark? I feel like you could have explained your (preposterous) strategy without being a dick.

I’m late to this (and missed the earlier thread entirely), but I have a fun one.

No notes.

Looking forward to hearing from my father-in-law how Home Depot is going woke.

Just a disclaimer: Europe’s winter tire market is a bit different from North America’s. While, for example, you can still get the Pilot Alpin 5s or the Blizzak LM005 in North America, the Michelin X ice Xi3 and Blizzak WS90 will both offer superior performance in severe winter conditions.
