The directors cut is a must though for first time viewers. It kills the opening exposition that essentially explains everything and lets you figure it out along with the protagonist.  It’s so much more mysterious and satisfying.

Mennonites blacking out chrome before it was cool.

I’ll have to check this out. I had been using Amazon Prime Music (or whatever it’s called) for awhile and then switched to Spotify a year or so ago. I generally like Spotify better, but Amazon’s recommendation algorithms were way better in my experience.

I have the same dilemma with “chomping/champing at the bit”.  I learned a few years back that “champing” is actually the original/correct word to use.  I just try to avoid the phrase now.

The reason the RE960/970/980 are much better is because they aren’t OE tires. RE92/97 are only used for OE applications (i.e. installed at the factory). They are designed to the car manufacturer’s specs (which tend to emphasize rolling resistance and a few other key metrics) where as the replacement tires are designed

Acura TLX and ILX, and I say that as someone who has a soft spot for the TLX. I just hardly every see them anymore on the road, and they sell comparatively so many more of their RDX/MDX (I’m assuming).  It just surprises me that they haven’t follow the Ford business model.  I’m glad they still offer sedans, I’m just

The Taco Bell app is so clutch. I don’t eat Taco Bell super often, but when I do, I go big. Being able to easily customize menu items just makes it all the more enjoyable. The cheesy bean and rice and the value menu beef burrito are some solid base items to build on.

father figure? family friend? fickle fapper? flamboyant fuckboi?

My wife had a Passat not that long ago, and the rear leg room was a major selling point for her. I’m a big dude, and it’s one of the few cars that I can recently remember where I could comfortably sit in the back seat without the front seats pushed nearly all the way up (and could sit in period with the front seats

I feel like the CC and now the Arteon are testing whether or not US customers would pay more for a nicer midsize VW sedan (spoiler: I think you’re right).

My wife picked out some pendant lights for our kitchen that look cool (and I was initially on board with), but in retrospect I kind of hate. Their shades are clear glass. It looks really neat with some LED Edison style bulbs but the light output is so completely different than the crappy builder grade ones they

Still have the V60...for now

Certainly not the worst but a major pet peeve of mine is people who drive with their emergency flashers on in bad weather. Bonus points if they’re doing it while we’re all slowly moving together in heavy traffic.

My wife is generally alright, save the random vague unhelpful gasp when something happens that worries her. My mom on the other hand has developed some sort of traffic alarmism that drives me up the wall. Two to three times a year we tend to make a drive that takes us through Chattanooga and Atlanta (two cities that

I ended up getting the J&J vaccine (just happened to be what they had when I got my appointment in March). I feel like all the news that’s coming out these days is about the Pfizer and Moderna efficacy. Any updates for those of us that received the Great Value brand jab?

I remember the WRX had clear tail lights in the late ‘00s.

Would trade in my TourX for one tomorrow.

Or pretty much any other new non-sports car

If we’re doing dad figures that aren’t really dads, I have to nominate Barley from Onward.
