Another vote for this case. It starts looking great after a month or two of use. I’ve had mine for about two years now (pic below), and it still looks good (and is mostly holding up), but the patina probably peaked for me around the one year mark.

Also, just feel like it’s worth pointing out that with the drinking age thing, it was to encourage states to come up to and meet the national standard. With this EPA/CARB debacle, it’s to punish the state for already meeting and exceeding the national standard.

I’m always amazed by how much storage Messages uses (due to photos, videos and gifs). I haven’t checked it in a while (fortunately I have enough storage on my phone now to not really have to sweat it), but I’m currently up to 26GB for the Messages app alone.

One of my coworkers has two young daughters, and one weekend he took them to see a terrible kids movie called “Norm of the North”. The theater apparently mixed up the preview/trailer reel and all of the trailers shown were for horror and thriller type movies. I distinctly remember him saying that the trailer for the

I don’t think changing tires in and of itself should bring out the pitchforks, but if you’re comparing two cars, it’s a factor that definitely needs to be taken into account.

His wife should have traded with the person next to him. I bet that person would have enjoyed the extra legroom and he’d get to sit next to his wife. I can’t imagine having the nerve to even ask someone in an objectively better seat to trade with me, let alone be indignant about.

I’m holding out for a 4th camera.

Does is pick up spoofed numbers?  Because that’s 99% of the spam I get.

For maximum heat absorption on a hot summer day.  Can you imagine how hot that car would get in a Texas parking lot in July?

I tend to disagree about taking 285 vs. the interstates through town. I have made the trip between Augusta and Nashville (20 west to 75 north and vice versa) numerous times, and despite the traffic in the 75/85 stretch it’s still generally faster than 285.

Nashville is a city that grew up too fast and the infrastructure and peoples’ driving shows it. Even if you’re just passing straight through, be prepared that you’ll have to make a couple awkward merges due to the way the interstates split and rejoin across the city.  Just assume no one knows what they’re doing so

He looks like his own wax statue.

Conversely, I daily drove a WRX for something like 11 years and never once got tagged for speeding.

Abflug is the involuntary noise I make when I look at that.

Also, as I recently learned from Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the 917 inspired Porsche to go with a wooden shift knob in the Carrera GT

This is probably a dumb question, but I’ve been unsuccessful finding an answer in some very quick googling. Is the engine in the tour x the same as the one found in Turbo 4 Camaro?

I’m always in charge of making cocktail sauce whenever shrimp is involved at a family gathering (usually peal and eat). I don’t measure anything really, but I’ve always just done ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and hot sauce. I’ll definitely need to splash in a bit of Worcestershire next time and see how it is.

I have an irrational hatred for any kind of jumbotron game (bonus points for ones that tell you to text something to a certain number in a laughably short amount of time). Shell games are terrible, but the ones that really get me are the “which of these 3 things is going to win” games. Chevron used to (maybe still
