Interesting question...but remember Lexus had the "more for less" approach when they first started too. They kept cranking out good products for a decent price and eventually increased their status.
The problem with Cadillac is IMAGE? What the heck "image" is a 5 Series BMW or an E Class portraying? "I have absolutely no imagination whatsoever." BMWs are just "some car." It's sold by the foot. "I want 14 feet of car!" Have a 2 Series! "I'd like 16 feet please!" 5 Series for you then sir!
I wonder if Hyundai will ever achieve "status" as a luxury car maker like Lexus, or if it will forever wallow in the nebulous semi-luxury pool. At the very least people do still associate Cadillac with a luxury brand, if maybe an old fashioned luxury brand.
Status is a shallow reason? Status is the entire point of veblen goods like luxury cars.
well, you proved my point. Lol. ram has had rear coils on the 1500's since 2009.
Actually just google 'how to chip your diesel to roll coal (like an idiot)' and 'how to run a diesel exhaust through your truck bed(like an idiot)' to see how to ruin a truck.

The firm US policy in the region is simple. Prevent a single power from controlling or dominating the entire region. We can't afford to control the region directly, so we will prevent anyone else from controlling it. As long as the Iranians are fighting proxy wars with the Saudi Alliance neither power can dominate the…

What I love about James, and really all of the presenters, was that they came across as just regular people who happened to be on a massive TV show. And now that the TV show is gone, they’re still just regular, entirely relatable people.
James May is the worlds best crazy uncle.
Love the TG guys. Even unemployed, they remain heroes to middle-aged, overweight, obnoxious car guys (like me) across the world.
Big Train doesn't want you talking about Big Train.

It's clear that the BBC has fired Jeremy Clarkson, and Jeremy Clarkson may not work on the show. Next series, May and Hammond will return, and in episode 1, they will have the long-awaited three-way hypercar race between the Porsche 918, LaFerrari, and McLaren P1. The car backed by Jeremy Clarkson in the last series…
