The hardware isnt /that/ bad. It is bad for WebOS however. There are plenty of android tablets out there, that would kill for this hardware. They need to optimize the software some more.

I honestly like this idea, however HP will need to create a "good" app foundation. As well as develop many of the apps in house. That will then raise the question of, "Why isnt this included if HP made it?"

I just got a confirmation on the 5 of these that I ordered. 2 16gb and 3 32gb, going to use them as displays and public access terminals at work. The Citrix app is slick as snot.

I keep 3 running SSIDs in my house. One is open and labeled "Untraceable Free Internet!". It routes you to an EULA page, Lots of legaleese that says you are being watched and such. This gets routed out, with a QoS of 1mb/s down and 256k up.

Some of them go into debug mode when they get a USB data connection when off. You could get even more tricky with that.

The Compat pac only works when opening the file directly, Sadly there are issues with DMS' and the like. Finally pulling the trigger on 2010, 2007 was far to much crap for me or my users, however 2010 is mature enough, that we can move forward with it.
