It isn’t about hiding it, it’s about setting expectations. If I receive a text, I almost always read it as soon as it would not be rude to do so. Whether I respond right away or not, though, depends on the urgency of the text, whether I have the answer to your question, and whether I have time to chat.

Without read

Actually no. The reason people are weaving is that they’re speeding. The excuse the use is “b-b-but he was going too slow!”

Also worth noting: Getting over “safely” is a judgment call on the part of the driver who would be exiting the left lane. If someone is tailgating and flashing their lights and not leaving an appropriate distance, then I am (in many states) not breaking the law by judging that changing lanes in front of an erratic,

Unless it was Apple, then we’d be in awe over how awesome they are for telling us what we should want.

Ah, so who gets to decide what speech is acceptable? We already have mechanisms in place for threats and actual criminal behavior (bomb threats, for example.)

One person’s bullying is another person’s free speech. I detest the Westboro Baptist Church and everything they stand for. However, the harm they cause pales in

I have to say it, because no one else has.

You’re a bully.

You’re sitting here, mocking an entire group of people. You: “gym rats, meatheads.” You belittle them at every turn for no reason other than your own pleasure... and when people correct you, you hide behind your irk at Facebook and television commercials, of all

Sorry, no, for at least some of us it IS about being healthy. See, thing is... I used to be about 80 pounds overweight, couldn’t run a half a mile to save my life, and had a mental self-image that did not reflect my physical reality.

What you don’t seem to grasp is that getting fit takes time, effort, and knowledge.

Not listing items on the menu is fine, if they’re not popular items and/or they’re kept around for nostalgia purposes. The All American Meal at McDonald’s was (is?) one of those items. The short (not tall) at Starbucks is another.

If you’re leaving it off of the menu so smarmy “in the know” hipsters can roll their eyes

So... instead of operating off of feelings, why not go for fact? Looks like they will, in fact, grill them to order, so you can have them bleeding and gross, if that’s your thing.

In the USA, you’ll probably be okay. When I was studying abroad last Fall, though, I found that Europe’s age discrimination game was strong. You’ll pay full price in the EU for most everything, student or no.

So you’re saying that Apple is charging a premium for... what exactly? The same Intel based hardware that most every PC uses these days? The privilege of using Apple products? The only original aspect IS the operating system, so to suggest that they’re not building in the cost is naive at best.
