I’m confused by this. The article mentions steps that will empower immediately, but that looks like a plan for children to be funded for 18 years. That’s great for the next generation, but not an immediate benefit to adults who’ve been economically undermined their entire lives while also funding education for children…

Thank you for responding. I don’t know why folk are afraid to speak up. There is nothing wrong in telling someone that they don’t like to be touched. Anyone with a brain in their head, would understand. We need common sense really bad.

A much more common example that isn’t ageism is not letting the elderly drive if they can’t pass the required tests.

Its not ageism to want a candidate that isn’t in their 70s.

Isn’t the sacrifice part referring to her allowing her son’s damaged body to be viewed in order to stop other mothers from having to go through that? I’m not getting that it’s about her “sacrificing” her son.

We simply cannot tolerate well-meaning people making mistakes. Can’t have it.
