So...spitting in someone’s food is morally superior to writing someone a parking ticket? Okay then.

I don’t think he understands the word “now” very well because you’re correct in your assessment of baby bonds, but what about everyone else?
I’m confused by this. The article mentions steps that will empower immediately, but that looks like a plan for children to be funded for 18 years. That’s great for the next generation, but not an immediate benefit to adults who’ve been economically undermined their entire lives while also funding education for children…
I agree, but I’ll amend your comment a bit:
Sure but there is an argument to be made that the campaigning and threats to primary any Democrat that doesn’t agree one hundred percent with being a particular kind of “progressive” or bicker over who is “truly” progressive feed into the narrative of rigidness when more Congresspeople and Senators are adopting…
Thank you for responding. I don’t know why folk are afraid to speak up. There is nothing wrong in telling someone that they don’t like to be touched. Anyone with a brain in their head, would understand. We need common sense really bad.
Thank you sincerely, for that thoughtful and helpful viewpoint.
I’ll probably get slammed. But this is America and everyone has a right to their opinions.
A much more common example that isn’t ageism is not letting the elderly drive if they can’t pass the required tests.
Its not ageism to want a candidate that isn’t in their 70s.
I see we’re engaging in The Daily Ageism.
I totally agree with this outlook on the NFL. I don’t support and haven’t watched the NFL for more than 10 years for this reason and many, many, others.
Well, you should take that up with Wikipedia.

He’s clearly saying that when an injustice was done to her family (son being murdered, perpetrator getting away with it), she didn’t go quietly into the night. She fought.…
Seems to be a bit of semantical wrangling to me. I mean, he IS promoting a film about Till, so...
I’m not understanding why that’s a bad thing.
Isn’t the sacrifice part referring to her allowing her son’s damaged body to be viewed in order to stop other mothers from having to go through that? I’m not getting that it’s about her “sacrificing” her son.
We simply cannot tolerate well-meaning people making mistakes. Can’t have it.
‘trailer park aunt’ Are we trying for a society of equals who are treated with respect? Is that the goal? Then you have to do your part and not look down on someone who lives in a trailer park. Or you have to be intelligent/wise/educated enough to keep your bigotry to yourself.
I think the plot to “own the libs” is proceeding apace if we are going to hunt high and low for any and every innocuous sign that someone is a secret nazi. This woman was sitting at a long-ass, boring hearing listening to someone get grilled. I am sure that her hands were at some point in several strange and perhaps…
