100 stars. That old interface is better than anything out there today. I’d love a live tile Instagram.

Controversial opinion. I don't care about bezels. I miss the front facing speakers on my HTC.

Re the quoted, I’m acknowledging that they are part public entity, even though by definition they are in fact a privately owned company. Re ethics, I’m saying that my point wad the owner’s net worth doesn’t matter. I don’t think ethics come into play hete, and even if they did, I don’t consider these actions

This is just a guess but is you did a survey of the general public I don't think insurance adjuster and Tesla owner would score all that different.

I don’t think ethics comes into play. I’d doubt he’s focusing on short term profits. There’s no evidence he’s Loria, and really short term over long term happens on the business world.

Right. So if it's a business he should treat it like a business, which in almost every situation means making decisions to turn a profit.

No

If that was beer guy's response then I withdraw what I said about him.

In beer guy's defense (I think. I've not really delved into this.) His POV is these were racist tweets. I wish I didn't used to think racism was funny/say racist things. I don't feel that way. I apologize.

This was all about money. MLS was trying to move it's appeal more towards the center, but realized the cost of doing so was too much.

I have a bone to pick with your rankings. Thanasis is actually a nickname. Athanasios should be ranked higher.

Only if he was an early adopter, which I can’t see. He probably had a school email address that went away when he graduated.

Who said anything about leaving? The oil companies aren’t dumb either. They’d rather no laws, but if laws are inevitable, then toothless laws that are mostly for show will have to do.

No their votes and policies are. The actual guys (for the most part) just vote in the way that keeps them in office. As the attitude of the people electing them changes in favor of climate change being a thing their rhetoric will too.

Except if enough people voting for them are directly affected by climate change they'll have to modify their stance. It won't change them being pro-oil. It's more that the philosophical devotion is to getting (re)elected, not for or against the environment.

Thank you for not reveling. It's not just Texas, most of the states most impacted by climate change are red. I honestly think most Republicans will just adapt. They aren't anti environment, just pro business, and there's ways to agree to environmental concessions without meaningfully hurting business.

When I was in a kitchen our head cook swore by traditional American beer (Coors, Bud, Miller, Hamms, Rainer, etc..). Essentially it gave the flavor of beer, but was almost water.

Portland is phenomenally bike friendly. There are “greenways” (Streets designated as bike/pedestrian-first) that make it as easy as possible to commute without a car, yet there are still bicyclist who insist on using the main roads, causing bottlenecks as cars after car tries to pass.

This is NW drivers in general

Because until 1998 both teams were bad. Oregon had his broken a 25ish year bowl drought, and Oregon State was almost done with a 30-year one. That game is the last conference game of the season, so there's not even hope. In 83 they played to a 0-0 tire in the rain.
