There’s a significant number of sports fans who be aren’t “traditional” fans, in terms of attitude not background, although the not straight white American male group is overlooked. The entire sports industrial complex (leagues, ESPN, Nike, athletes, etc.. ) has this winning proves greatness attitude.

Honestly, this is what sports is all about.

Apropos to nothing, but I found myself Orlovsky’s Twitter bio a couple weeks ago, which may be an indication of a much larger problem, and was glad to see he enjoys an end zone joke as much as the rest of us.

The list is getting long, but Kobe is (so begrudgingly) a top 10 player. If you really make a results based case, he's over Shaq, Dr. J, Oscar, and probably Duncan.

Kobe is an all time great like Karl Malone is (plus championships I know). He belongs, but not in the discussion at the top.

You’re missing a key component for assholes that sperate athletes from finance and tech douchebros, the ability to physically hurt somebody. All those positions have to theoretically watch what they say. I'd vote defensive end or power forward.

Oh and all up and down the West coast any Asian food is good.

Seattle is a lot like Portland in the sense that there's not a signature dish, but in general the restaurants tend to be better. That being said, I've had a ton of good seafood there.

Before it was known for foodie type items Portland was known for seafood. Jakes is old-school, expensive, and worth it. You can’t go wrong by looking up the latest hot restaurants (it’ll change) and going there. Also in general the Pho, Thai food, and sushi are better than most places. Also there’s a few top notch…

I work in PR, and this is rarely the way we want to work. Capital One has a good team. They knew exactly what the headlines were going to be, and that no wording was going to make this a positive news cycle.
