It’s almost like these sports that are built around very young kids who sacrifice a normal life, for one dominated by a singular all-powerful lead that’s spends more time alone with them than their own parents, attracts a significant number of people who grossly abuse their power.

The these kids need training and life skills doesn’t really pencil out though. They’re were definitely kids who couldn’t cut it, and fuckups, but not at a greater rate than after the age limit was put in place.

This is the real reason.

I feel like having a (likely) 10-year NBA career is living up to expectations. Sure you hope, and often get more, but Ross is about middle of the road for people drafted in the back half of the lottery.

I can't on his podcast, but he's still a good comedian. *Although his last special makes me think he's starting to slip.

I can't wait until a free agent leaves and specifically gives a late call up as a reason.

The Olympics are (mostly) fine. They just need to go back to not building new cities to host them.

Deadspin is a blog about being a sports fan. If you want to read a sports blog go to, I don't know Bleacher Report. They live in New York. They follow the Knicks. This is a Knicksonian thing to do. What do you want?

Haven’t you been paying attention? Sell your house to buy lottery tickets. Now it's a plan.

I’m in media and I don’t buy that NYC is closer to media. Media is Instagram and Nike. There's a slight argument that it will get him on the Today show easier, but if he's trying to reach mass market LA is much better.

But maybe. That’s a pattern. KD now doesn’t have to worry about retiring never winning a championship, and next step is winning being the man. And it’s accurate to say he left a good team with an elite PG, but more accurate to say he left Russ.

I honestly don’t watch anything anymore, but that’s why I would. If you like listening on the radio you might like archive.org. They have a bunch of old broadcasts. I'm seeing a bunch of Mets broadcasts from 62.

Sports.

I’m not supposed to be responding to comments on this one, but supreme laziness is why I watch TV.

I said this about Boogie up thread but Kyrie is the type of player who signs in NY. Now that they have the cap space the team is Zion, Boogie and Kyrie?

Boogie is definitely the type of guy who signs in NY. Great call.

This. Why would a top flight player choose to sign with Dolan?

My lead didn’t make sense with what I ended up writing.  I remember all my friends defending those signings.

I don't know if we can give up Aminu.  I'd rather offer Harkless and Leonard
