@Drummertist v.3: I think everyone needs to stop imagining what it would be like and start looking at programs that have already been using iTouch's in the classroom successfully. The concept is not new. It's just coming to a larger, more versatile platform.

I stopped reading after the first two paragraphs because you should REALLY talk to teachers who've been using iPod Touch's in the classroom already (I know several) before making a judgment called based on... what perspective exactly?

@CarcharoDon Carcharias: You seek WidgetLocker. I use it on an unrooted Incredible with Launcher Pro +. You can choose several different styles of lockscreens - including iPhone style.

Looks like they'd only work with knit gloves...unless you want to destroy your nice, Thinsolate or down-filled gloves.
