The purpose of the article here is to express how disappointed the author (of the article) is in GRRM for not living up to what the author feels he is entitled as a generic consumer.

He has also released 3 or 4 full text sample chapters, and read several more chapters at comic-con type events (All of them were very good reads and appropriate grrm quality). He specifically took 2015 off from most social events to focus on writing. I just don’t understand the purpose of the article here.
