Yes! Tyrion really comes to the forefront in book two.

Agreed. Cersei is blinded by the love she has for her son and never sees that he is a vile little creepy arrogant worthless shit.
I hope this promotes your comment because the button isn't working for me...
Poor Arya, is it wasn't for bad luck she would have no luck at all. Just when you think things will get better for her it all turns to shit.
Agreed, the acting is top notch and I think that this is the best cast series that I have ever seen. Peter Dinklage alone is the biggest scene stealer and Joffery is such a vile brat I want to reach through my TV screen and throttle him. Money well spent.

The only reason that I think it would be secret if Robert was the father would be because they were not married, as far as I know, and Ned would not want to besmirch Lyanna's memory.
I too keep thinking who will tell Jon about his mother and father?
I think that she initially trusted the Magi to attend to Drogo when he was first wounded because she was also trying to show that her actions in saving the group of women were valid. That the women were of value to the Dothraki. She was also concerned for Drogo who felt he was invincible and had a "it's just a…
I already knew that Ned "would be chopped" because someone on a previous GoT thread spoilt if for me. But that is fine, I read io9 at my own risk and it was pretty telegraphed in the series.
"That being said I'm a bit worried about Doctor Who becoming too political and obsessed with making statements. It should remain a family friendly sci-fi show."
I just back from Chapters/Indigo (I'm in Canada) and they were the same price but with my Chapters card and buy 3 get one free it worked out to be $6.74 a piece. I also chose the book with the sword on the cover. Off to start reading!
Yes, I think that JK Rowling left some humanity in Draco, especially in the last books, we see more depth to his character. The actors are spot on in their portrayal.
Thank you so much! Here is your heart :)
I had a similar experience in sharing Harry Potter with my kids. I will always remember my youngest marvelling at the big screen and quietly saying "that's Hedwig". When I watched the video above I cried.
I loved Roddy MCDowall since My Friend Flicka and Lassie Come Home!
As a Canadian, who has just lived throught the longest winter of my life, I have more issues with the fake looking snow. I just keep telling myself that it is a fantasy and maybe the snow in their world looks like is sprayed on ;)
Peter Dinklage is simply stealing the show. His portrayal of Tyrion Lannister is masterful. It is so nice to see a character using his brain.
My sister and I were bawling after that scene. It is still an inside joke with our mother. All I have to say is "Fa love Pa" and they know exactly what I mean. The other movie that hit us that hard was Where the Red Fern Grows (1974).
