KEDEKAI, AS GOD MADE HER

BEHOLD THE DEFILER

Excellent news. I really enjoyed the first season. Any time you can have Conan on your TV, its a good thing

I’m still hoping he’s Saruman. It makes more sense and would have greater dramatic heft.

Original vs Prequels vs Disney. Can we all just agree that Rise of Skywalker is the fucking worst.

Well, that’s because he would have liked to come and meet us, but he thought he’d blow our minds.

I watched all of season 1, and expect to watch all of season 2. But I can’t for the life of me understand how much this show has missed what made Game of Thrones appealing.

Yeah, but when you put it like that you make it sound like he’s using the spectre of anti-Semitism to cowardly hide behind so he can get his own shitty opinions across and and not have to deal with any contravening ideas- oh. Wait.

Yes, yes, ok, yes, but - hear me out:

I think it was a more general commercial opportunity play.  Loads of the merch that came out along with the movie was pod-race related.

No worries, Kinja’ll Kinja.

I mean, if you ranked the characters in terms of memorability, it’s like:

Everything everyone likes about Seinfeld is everything but the titular character. There’s one-shot characters that are more memorable than Jerry.

Catholicism.

Now playing

I don’t know, I’d say this video proves you can have fun talking about episode II:

It’s fucking crazy that you think you know what a whole generation of individuals (almost every single one of whom you’ll never meet) are like

Never going to understand why people keep trying to rehabilitate one of the worst movies ever made. The thrill of an actual race or even of a movie where they use real cars is completely absent, the crowd reactions are terrible, the announcer is terrible, the faces people keep pulling and the kid keep pulling are

I get that but honestly while I’ve never seen them as the masterpieces they’re sometimes praised as, I can still see that the originals are pretty good.

I felt pretty much the same way. On one hand it’s great to get something so original, but on the other hand this show was REALLY slow until like the final 3 episodes.

Same. I have no particular interest in body horror, and without that the show doesn't have enough. There are some interesting nature concepts, but the utterly unconpelling human characters are too much to overcome.
