Yup, my 2018 GTI SE with 18K miles probably isn’t worth $22K right now. (just checked KBB FWIW; maybe it is, maybe not)

As I was reading your post about how your 12 year old GTI is a piece of junk now, I thought about when I was driving my 14 year old IS300 and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Then you said “they aren’t Toyotas”. Accurate mention is accurate.

Yep, avoid the potential headache and get 7/10ths of a Golf R.

$22k is sure a lot of money; that could get you into a lot of newer, younger, lighter, and only slightly-slower GTI.

A/C works, just needs recharge bro

Anytime I see any Mondial for sale (usually for 30-40k)

David Tracy still has his first Jeep. And always will.

THIS is where you prove your Jalop cred. Reasonable price for an interesting/amusing relic with relatively minor (for an Alfa) issues to deal with.

Stabbed twice.

Whenever I watch American Pickers or see these huge car collections, I get really confused by the economics. Most of these people are pretty salt-of-the-earth, yet, somehow, they have money to just buy crap and crap and more crap and tonsacrap and a bunchacrap, then never sell it. While most of us are like “I’ll have

Agreed. I was liking everything so far until I read the price. I wouldn’t pay more than 4K for this thing, unless the mileage was under 80K. Seriously CP !

This take is next level stupid.

I can’t stand it! I know you planned it!

On a classic Jeep Cherokee with the bulletproof 4.0 inline six, miles almost don’t matter. It’s a bit like the bean dip I’ve had in the back of my fridge since... *shrugs*...

I don’t like the monkey, it wants me to taka a survey after I voted so I can see the results of the poll. That's a NO-NO in my book, sorry

$7000 is “Why not?” money for you? Mr. Moneybags over here.

There are unmolested NA Miatas for sale for $2,500 all day around here. Why take on all of the issues with this one? Perhaps for $500 and LeMons duty.

I’m with you. Then it should be priced like a broken bike though.  There’s nothing wrong with dumping you broken stuff but it’s got to be priced for it.

Agreed.  I definitely rate this one more of a VP (Vape Pen) than a CP , either way , not touching it.

I have a 1990 Storm 5 speed. Still in great shape and fun to drive. Obviously not my only car now, but still drive it most every day. I bought it new when I needed a 4 seater to have a place for a baby seat. So now my daughter and car are both turning 30! Anyway, I know a lot of people don’t like the Storm. Maybe I
