Here’s the funny part (to me) that most people ignore: If you buy anything other than an item hand-built by one person you actually know, you are almost definitely buying something that one or more people you would HATE worked on or are profiting off of. So your choices are to either become a homesteader and make

ND, none of the cars from this range are worth 30k. Even the newer generation of Ghibli can be had in the mid teens.

I want to read the Maverick article but I keep getting autoloaded to a Root page. I can’t be the only one.

What the fuck!

Kilik was seriously wounded
But the soul still burns.

Yeah, my 16-y/o is going through it now, just got his permit after 6 hours of driving school in the spring.

And get rear ended by an inattentive driver at the end of the line, no thanks.

It was even easier when I got my license. I drove myself to the Highway Patrol station that did the tests, got there about 7 in the morning, waited in line about an hour, took the written, went directly to the driving portion, got the paper that I passed, then went to the DMV to get my license. Took all of about 3

There needs to be an automobile driver bill of rights that stops vehicle manufacturers from monetizing the drivers’ information when no permission was given in the first place—especially with them spying on drivers and relaying it to insurance companies.

It needs to be both much harder to get a driver’s license in this country and much easier to lose it.

I’ve seen enough JustRolledIntoTheShop videos to know that mandatory yearly vehicle safety inspections should be the norm in every state.

We bought ours partially on the recommendations from three friends with 8 to 10-year-old models. They’ve been really happy and they report very few issues. I have heard that the CVT can be shitty over time, but none of our friends have had issues.

I know I go on about our ‘22 Crosstrek and that people are probably tired of me advocating for it, but... it really is that good. We’ve just hit 60,000km and the end of the factory warranty. We’ve had no warranty issues; no issues of any kind. Fit and finish is as good today as it was on delivery.

Yes, I would.

Now playing

I didn’t remember that until I read your comment, thanks for putting that back in my head.

The Blackwood was my thought while reading OP’s comment, but I think it’s fair to give that crown to the EV Hummer because of the size/weight and huge potential for how much damage one of those could cause due to their insane acceleration ability.

I had one just like this (there was a Jalopnik article about it when I sold it on BaT, too lazy to look it up) not as nice, but same delightful orange. I always wanted one, these are cool, to my eye they look like a mini Italian exotic from the same era.

AV Club comments were still a part of Kinja until today. There is a lot of hate for Kinja but it is a near anonymous commenting system without an associated email address etc. I like it for all of its glitches.

Seriously. Vote like you’d like the opportunity to vote again, at all, ever.
