“Diabetes. Why lose inches when you can lose feet?”

This is dumb, and semantics; but they didn’t technically drop it, right? Unintentionally released in to a (presumably) unstable orbit?

Have you tried diabetes? I lost 60lbs before I got my rear end in to my doctor for a diagnosis. Having an A1C if 10%+ will really melt the pounds away (and make you feel like absolute shit).

There is just so, so much here to unpack.

So, one more reason not to visit Paris?  I knew the French were trying to kill me!

The images remind of of Centralia, PA before they tore most of the houses down. Of course, there it is due to a coal fire deep underground instead of a volcano, but still.

I wish I could have gotten a picture, but the weather was terrible and I was driving.  This was around 2018 or so?

Well, fuck a duck. I *just* got out of the greys (again) a few weeks ago.

I don’t know what you’d call Deadspin these days, but it ain’t really carrying on. A desecrated, skull fucked corpse being held up by cheap AI puppet strings maybe?

I have had the opposite experience.  On both coasts any actual owners I have met have been 70+, and most have been their first open air vehicle.  I do see youngins in tourist areas that have them as rentals, but owners have always been older.

As a young Gen X I appreciate many of these cars, but don’t really want to own any of them, maybe except a small RV.

There’s a lot to be said for being 16, driving with a bench seat and no center console, that’s for sure.

So, what rims would you recommend switching to? Because those absolutely mar what is otherwise a very lovely looking vehicle.
