People are pink? Maybe she's colorblind. Literally, not in the "I don't see color!" way (but I'm sure she says that too).

As a white girl, I've been through with her because she's a fucking terrible actress (although she's better now than she used to be, but that's not saying much) and I do not understand her popularity. Also, saw her speak at an Avatar screening and she came across as a bitchy idiot. That's an intolerable combination.

I'm going to stop you right there because the CW in the last few years has become a haven for genre shows that are actually really good they don't want Zoe Saldana don't believe me? Let the comments on these articles speak for themselves

Kerry Washington is the anti-Zoe Saldana, and for that (and more), I love her.

Neither of those links say anything that refutes my point. I didn't say that black voters caused Prop 8 to pass. I said that of the black people who voted, the majority wanted to ban gay marriage. That is an irrefutable fact.

People are entitled to their own opinions....but she knows she's been cast for the very ethnicity she wants to ignore, i.e., black. That's what annoys. Now with the casual dismissal of awful D&G. No ones asking her to be Kerry Washington (impossibility) but at least grow a brain and be responsible.

I'm didn't understand a lot of this Dirt Bag. But I am also really high. Sundays, amirite?

Jennifer Lawrence doesn't (necessarily) want to bang Bradley Cooper, but she will possibly split a burger and fries with him (or maybe order her own portion, 'cause she seems like the kind of chick who wouldn't want to share but in a good, eating-all-the-food-is-healthy way), because the duo, collectively, make up

awl, "ah well ", owul, oül, I can go on and on!

We're not more homophobic than anyone else (I don't think) but it can't be denied that a lot of black people are homophobic. I don't think she was giving lip service to the 'more homophobic' thing but rather reminding blacks that we were denied similar rights not so long ago and now we're denying other minorities the

Wow, not parroting. I like accuracy and intersectionality is an accurate term to use considering my emphasis on reading people of color this year.

NOT THE CW!!!!

I thought people who are non brown is peach? That's what Crayola says. And Crayola is always right! Plus white crayons is for Republicans. That's a totally different race all together. Duh!

She always so spot on and amazing and brilliant. Between her and ActivistBae Jesse Williams, Shonda has done right by the people.

That left me with almost no words and all of the feels. God, that was fantastically delivered. I enjoyed her before, but I love her now. Everyone should hear this.

"Divide and conquer today, divide and conquer tomorrow, divide and conquer forever!"

People make better leaders and are more adequate at advocating for civil rights and equality. Because we are able to empathize with feeling powerless, evaluated and discriminated against, since we live it from our birth to our graves.

Powerful words to remain vulnerable to and introspective about. I continue to get empty stares from others when I mention that I am reading, watching and seeking the insight of "black feminism" which her comments so accurately highlight. As a white man I have inherent privilege that I will never fully be able to
