Also, any training program will tell you this, but on race day start of slow and work your way up to your race pace. It’s so easy to get jacked up morning of and sprint out the first few miles. Maybe you’ll be able to adjust back to pace and then gut out the last few miles, but you’ll probably be walking by the end.
